The Lusaka Securities Exchange (LuSE) paid a courtesy call on ZCCM-IH Plc where they were welcomed by the Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Ndoba Joseph Vibetti. Dr. Vibetti expressed ZCCM-IH’s continued commitment to the growth of the Zambian economy. This is demonstrated through ZCCM-IH’S rich history, which dates to the pre-Independence era and its 24-year listing on the LuSE. This is particularly significant as the LuSE approaches its 30th anniversary. During the visit, the Chief Executive Officer of the LuSE, Mr. Nicholas Kabaso, reiterated the LuSE’s commitment to supporting listed companies through open dialogue and collaboration. He emphasized the significance of maintaining strong relationships with listed companies that encourages a strong and more dynamic capital market. Mr. Kabaso also conveyed the Exchange’s renewed strategy to expand the investor base, both retail and institutional, as well as widening the issuer base to provide the much needed liquidity in the market.
