The LuSE has always been passionate about promoting Financial Literacy especially among the youth and was happy to host students from the Copperbelt University, School of Built Environment for a tour of the Exchange. The highlight of the of the visit was the students interaction with the Exchange, giving them a real-world understanding of how the capital market operates, going beyond textbooks and lectures, allowing them to witness the dynamic nature of securities trading. This firsthand experience also helped in connecting the theoretical knowledge with practical application, fostering a deeper understanding of finance and potentially inspiring future career paths in the capital markets.
