The LuSE management team, led by the CEO Mr Nicholas Kabaso paid a courtesy call on Airtel Networks Zambia Plc where they met the Interim Managing Director and Chief Commercial Officer Mr Hussam Baday and his Management Team. The LuSE CEO acknowledged Airtel’s key position within the telecommunication sector and showed gratitude to Airtel for using the Exchange to raise capital for their operations. He further highlighted the key role the telecommunication sector plays in advancing financial education and social inclusion in Zambia. Both parties agreed on how crucial technology plays in enabling economic growth in the country and to lead growth in other key sectors that support the Telecommunication market. During the meeting, Mr. Baday acknowledged that there are a lot of opportunities that the Technological sector can fill in improving the lives of the Zambian people. He also reaffirmed Airtel’s commitment to serve the Zambian market and that the entity is here to stay.
