Affiliations

The LuSE recognises that there is a lot of value in ascribing to different associations and member groups. We acknowledge that such affiliations aid institutional prestige, provides collaboration to increased learning and profiles the Exchange in competitive rankings that attracts increased credibility to what we do. In this regard the LuSE is affiliated with the following

Capital Markets Association of Zambia (CMAZ)

CMAZ is an association with a broad-based membership and seek to drive increased participation within capital markets through individuals, corporates, and related institutions such as issuers of securities, arrangers, brokers, wealth managers, planners, and investors in securities in both the primary and the secondary markets. They endeavor to foster dialogue and relationships between the Capital market participants and the regulator Securities Exchange Commission to contribute to the development of capital markets in Zambia.

African Securities Exchanges Association (ASEA)

The African Securities Exchanges Association is the Premier Association of Securities Exchanges in Africa, that have come together with the aim of developing Member Exchanges, promoting capital market business and providing a platform for networking. The Association was established in 1993, and works closely with Member Exchanges to unlock the potential of the African Capital Markets

Committee on SADC Stock Exchanges (CoSSE)

The Committee of SADC Stock Exchanges (CoSSE) was established in 1997 and is a collective body of the various stock exchanges in the Southern African Development Community (SADC). Although CoSSE is essentially a private sector association, it forms part of SADC structures as it has a formal status under the SADC Finance and Investment Protocol (FIP)
